Robert ended up on the streets over 3 years ago and began taking class A drugs. Robert stayed at Kingsway House shelter last year, which Signature Living opened in the winter of 2017. Robert shared that Kingsway offered him his first chance to kick his drug habit and turn his life around. The staff helped him to cut down from using 13 times a day to 4 times a day. Robert is currently on Suboxone and making a conscious effort to get clean. He looks forward to learning new skills at our upholstery workshops and put them into practise.
Cotton Street is giving me another shot, I want to get clean, get back into work and back in with my real family. This is my street family, but I want my real family too.
With the help of the NHS, Merseycare, council officials, agencies and the people of Liverpool, we’re stronger together, and can really make a difference.
